It has now been 20 years since Asha’s disappearance, but her family still has not given up hope. Just two years ago in October 2018, the Charlotte Observer reported the recovery of two items belonging to Asha. The first being a book she may have checked out from her school library and the latter being a “New Kids on the Block” shirt.
